About Playa del Carmen Tours
This site lines up bookable tours from Playa del Carmen: Chichén Itzá, Tulum and Cobá day trips, the Río Secreto underground river, Akumal turtles, jungle buggy and ATV rides, Holbox, Xcaret and Xplor, a food walk and a cooking class. We compare tour listings, official visitor information and recent traveller feedback. We do not operate or personally conduct these tours. The full line-up is in the tours in Playa del Carmen catalogue.
Why It Exists
Two Chichén Itzá day trips can look alike in a search result and still differ by the thing that sets your bill: both leave a $44 site fee to be paid on the day, one runs 12 hours with a cenote and Valladolid, the other gets to the ruins early in 9. The Holbox and Tulum days add a fee at boarding that the headline price does not show.
Those details are the columns of the comparison here, read off each listing.
Where the Figures Come From
Tour prices, ratings, review counts, group sizes and inclusions come from the listing on the platform that sells each tour, GetYourGuide or Viator. Fees, ferry details and seasons come from the official or published sources named in each section, and exchange rates from the European Central Bank reference rate.
Where two sources disagree, the page gives both or leaves the figure out.
What You Will Not Find
No invented guide or writer stands behind these pages, and the site has no office or phone line in Playa del Carmen. Reviews shown are short excerpts from four and five star platform reviews. A recurring problem, such as a fee paid in cash on boarding or a seasonal departure, is written into the comparison with the advice that goes with it.

How the Site Is Paid For
